All the experts telling us how to eat and how much to exercise to work off our Thanksgiving meal can stick it. You aren’t out of shape because of Thanksgiving dinner. You’re out of shape because of the work you didn’t do in the 364 days leading up to Thanksgiving. 

You don’t get out of shape or lose your gains on Thanksgiving. If you believe that, you don’t need a personal trainer, you need a psychiatrist.

Common sense. Perspective. Don’t give in to marketing hype.  

Thanksgiving Tip of the Day

Not the best quality on this one, but you can get the point. Be yourself on Thanksgiving. Eat what you want, exercise if you wish, but don’t let other people decide what you should do or how you should feel about your choices.

Never waste your words on those people in your life who deserve only your silence. Sometimes the greatest show of strength is to say nothing at all.
