I sincerely hope I these kinds of stories disappear in my lifetime. It’s 2012, don’t people have better things to do than pick on others and make them feel lousy?

The colder months can be a great time to drop a few pounds. In this article I give you 4 great ideas to help lose some weight this season without trying very hard. 

According to The Lancet, ½ of the people in the US will be obese by 2030 (if current trends continue). How is this possible?  It seems like there are more companies and people than ever talking about losing weight and the problems associated with being obese. Everywhere I turn there’s something about eating right or getting exercise or healthy living. 

So for all those efforts ½ of the country will be obese in 18 years? This reminds me of words attributed to Einstein, “doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result is insane” (or something like that). Clearly all the time, money, and resources being poured into the war against obesity is mostly wasted. Unfortunately, much like the war on drugs I suspect the war on obesity will march on consuming untold resources while producing few tangible results.
