Effort. Action. It’s strange how many people don’t understand when you do little things that are actually an expression of your love. 

Taking out the garbage isn’t sexy, but it means your partner doesn’t have to. Doing someone’s laundry isn’t what you see in the movies or on the internet, but how nice is it to walk into your bedroom and see your clothes clean and folded? 

We focus too much on the big things all the while missing the little things that happen all the time. 

Flowers are nice. Diamonds are special. But just being kind and compassionate towards the one you love on a daily basis is much more challenging, and much more rewarding.
