The Most Beautiful Ruined Moment
This kind of a tear-jerker story, but for me it really brings home the notion that one person can make a difference. Not everyone can be Steve Jobs or Gandhi, but each one of us can make a difference somewhere.
There’s o indication that the actor in the story knew he made a difference in the little boy’s life, and I think that’s the point. Thanks to the internet there are lots of people who like to draw attention to themselves for various reasons, but in this story the actor was likely just being himself.
For those who say that there’s no point in trying to be nice or trying to make a difference, this story serves to remind us that we should always be trying as we may never know how we can make an impact.
